CD REVIEW: Ordinary Flowers "This Time Again"

Ordinary Flowers "This Time Again"
Record Label: Self Released
Hometown: Albuquerque, NM
Genres: Rock - Rock and Roll, Folk, Americana

They sound like a 10 more pack a day Eddie Vedder. After doing the research these 2 friends had plenty of time to smoke and drink. This is the first record for a ten year friendship between two musicians from the Michigan countryside, countless failed relationships, collaborations, empty beer cases, a cross country move, guitars that were sold to pay rent, hoping, dreaming, love of music, and a complete lack of success.

A rock n roll album is what you get with Ordinary Flowers. I love that they feel the need to share they recorded this in one weekend! Stand out track "Hard Road Blues" instead of more cowbell I say more cymbal!

Recorded in Santa Fe, NM by Bill Palmer at Frogville Studios.
