Blending punk, pop and powerful rock into bouncing beats and catchy melodies...

THE BURNING HOTELS

Blending punk, pop and powerful rock into bouncing beats and catchy

melodies, The Burning Hotels have joined a class of modern indie-rockers

inspired by the Strokes and the Killers.

Hailing from Texas, the quartet debuted in 2007 with the independent EP

release of "Eighty Five Mirrors." Before playing this year's South by

Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas, the Burning Hotels were featured

in the 2009 film "Bandslam." This year brought the release of the band's

full-length debut, "Novels," a creative, lush and energetic guitar- and

drum-driven effort anchored by the soaring harmony vocals of Chance Morgan

and Matt Mooty.

Spouse from Portland, Ore., and the Columbines from Chicago also are on the

bill.
