Editorial Reviews

After a year in space on the UFO, White Orange has returned with their self-titled debut album. Recorded in Portland, Oregon, by Adam Pike (Red Fang, Icarus Line, Black Elk), this is the rock record of 2011 and is the musical equivalent of shamanic time travel. They're transmuting such bands as Kyuss, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr & Mastadon into their own brew of psychedelic soda pop brought on by the spiraling evolution of sound. Tired of soul-less weak indie bands? Are you taking psychedelic drugs in your bedroom? Are you having conversations with the universe? Then this band is speaking to you. Features original cover art by Raul Casillas. Also available on LP.
